How to Convert Google Sheets Files to Excel?

Converting a Google Sheets file to an Excel file is a straightforward process. Here’s how you can do it:

  1. Open Your Google Sheets File: First, open the Google Sheets file you want to convert.
  2. Go to File Menu: In the Google Sheets interface, click on the “File” menu located at the top left corner of the screen.
  3. Download as Excel: In the dropdown menu, hover over “Download” or “Download as”, and then select “Microsoft Excel (.xlsx)”. This will convert your Google Sheets file into an Excel file.
  4. Save the File: The converted file will be downloaded to your computer. Check your Downloads folder or the location where your browser saves downloaded files.
