Become a Blockchain Developer in 4 Easy Steps

Cryptocurrencies are going crazy. BTC increased by 234.5% from the last year, ETH increased by 477.79% and what really shocked me is Shiba Inu increased by 75,740,125.75% in just a single year.

BTC and ETH can make your investment a lot more and Shiba Inu can make you a millionaire or billionaire.

Well, I haven’t invested a lot this year. If I had invested some crazy amount, I would be a millionaire without working a little bit.

I know it is risky but it is worth your time. And it is not required to spend your money, there are other multiple ways you can earn money with the use of this technology.

The one that I am talking about today is Blockchain Developer.

So we are going to talk about 4 crucial points and that’s it. They are as follows:

  1. First, ask yourself, do you really want to learn Blockchain Engineering?
  2. If yes then take a Blockchain Course.
  3. Practice, Practice, and Practice.
  4. Start your own startup or do a job.

Now let’s start.

1. Do you really want to learn Blockchain Engineering?

It depends on several factors like:

  1. Do you have enough time to learn new technology?
  2. Do you want to make something out of it?
  3. Will you use it in your business or job?

And many more, but you get the point.

If all of the answers will be a big yes. Then you are good to go.

Since if you don’t have enough time to learn then it will be of no use. You will not learn anything out of it. For example, we all have 24 hours in a day and want to do a lot more. If we planned to add Blockchain engineering then we have to save our precious time to learn it.

Likewise, try to think about what you want to do after learning Blockchain Engineering. Let me give you my example, I am a Web developer and now I am trying to learn Stock Market and Crypto Market. To know more about Crypto, I am learning Blockchain Engineering.

Lastly, try to answer the last question i.e Will you use it in your business or job? If not, then it will be of no use. You are just wasting your time learning a new technology that’s it. For example, we read tons of books but do we remember most of their lessons. Simply no, because we are not implementing it in our life.

If you have asked yourself all of the questions and the answer is yes, then proceed further. Else try to learn what you are keen on.

2. Take a Course

It is one of the crucial steps to follow. I have learned several skills in the past and based on my experience, I think we learn better through visuals rather than reading. Like, I had learned web development with Udemy, Stock Market with Skillshare, and then read books to become an expert.

Similarly, you have to follow the steps:

  1. Take a free or paid course (I’m providing you with some free courses later in this guide).
  2. Read bestselling books.

Why I am talking a lot about taking a video course? It is because an expert who knows better about a specific technology creates a well-formatted course. So as a beginner, we don’t have to search a lot, we get everything from a single course.

Now let’s talk about some of the best free courses for Blockchain Engineering.

Free Courses

A) Solidity, Blockchain, and Smart Contract Course — Beginner to Expert Python Tutorial

One of the best courses, I have tried to learn Blockchain development. Here you will learn about everything. Like Blockchain introduction, Solidity, Ganache, Brownie, Smart contract, Chainlink, ERC20s, EIPs, Token Standards, Defi, Aave, NFTs, etc.

B) Build Your First Blockchain App Using Ethereum Smart Contracts and Solidity

When I was learning web development, the first project I had created was a Todolist. Similarly while learning Blockchain engineering, I want to create a Todolist and this is the best tutorial I got.

The first course is close to 16 hours and the second Todo list tutorial is 1 hour and 30 minutes. You can also subscribe to their YouTube channels if you need to.

That is fair enough to learn new technology like Blockchain. Now you have enough ideas to grow further.

You can also learn courses from Udemy.

Read Bestselling Books

I have found out the best trick to get the best book. Simply I write on Google about “Best Selling Books on Blockchain” and that’s it.

Google recommends me Amazon website and I order some of the books from there.

You can also read some best books like:

  1. Mastering Bitcoin
  2. Mastering Ethereum, by Andreas M. Antonopoulos, Gavin Wood

You can buy these books or read them for free from GitHub.

3. Practice, Practice, and Practice

Now you have learned a lot, practiced a lot, spend a lot of your time. So don’t stop to learn further.

Try to practice what you want. Create projects, upload on GitHub, join the community to leverage your skills.

Make some different types of projects. Yes, it will take your time but help you to become an expert.

4. Start your own startup or do a job

Don’t always try to build stuff with the tutorial other than that try to create your own product or get a job.

It will depend on you what to do. Like creating your own startup, working with a company, or freelancing.

Since you have enough knowledge about Blockchain, you can also try to invest in cryptocurrencies.

Let’s Wrap Up

I want to create a simple guide for everyone out there.

Blockchain is a new technology, Bitcoin was launched in the year 2009, before that no one knows about this technology.

So you have the advantage to become an expert in it.

That’s it — thanks.

You can also read a complete guide about Blockchain.
